Sports Massage: Athletic massage, is the application of massage techniques that combine sound anatomical and physiological knowledge, an understanding of strength training and conditioning, and specific massage skills to enhance athletic performance. Athletic massage enables athletes to attain their highest potential by accelerating the body's natural restorative processes, enabling the athlete to participate more often in rigorous physical training and conditioning. Massage helps to reduce the chance of injury by identifying and eliminating conditions in the soft tissue that are at potential risk of injury. When injury has occurred, massage helps to restore mobility and flexibility to injured muscle tissue, while reducing recovery time. Athletic massage, when done correctly, can improve the athlete's ability to perform while reducing the incidence of lost time due to injury and fatigue. Receiving sports massage on a regular basis may extend the athlete's career.

Deep Tissue:
Deep tissue massage aids in the recovery of injured or strained muscles and promotes greater flexibility, breaking up scar tissue and the bonds between connective tissues. Deep Tissue Massage is for those who suffer from chronic pain or muscle conditions, such as fibromyalgia. Deep tissue is especially helpful in relieving muscle soreness. The strokes used are more direct, deep, and slow in nature, and address the deeper non-superficial muscle groups. Stretching and joint movement are also a part of this massage therapy. Deep tissue and deep PRESSURE are not the same.

Flexibility
:  Flexibility is the ability to move joints and muscles through their full range of motion, which increases blood circulation.  Flexibility training can improve your athletic performance and your overall health.  Stretching exercises can increase your power and improve your co-ordination.
